Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. I thought this image and sentiment were perfect for my first card to share in 2022!
I kept my image mostly black and white – adding a pop of color to the glasses on the girl hiding behind her piles of books.
I layered up some fun pattern papers to create the color and interest to my card – that is mainly why I left my image simple – so that it didn’t end up too busy and complicated!
I added a couple of puffy stickers to embellish (I especially love the flower in her hair!), and also added a tiny paper clip with a bit of twine tied onto it, as well as a few enamel dots for a touch more texture.
