Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. For today’s card, I broke out my Copic markers to do some fun coloring in a slightly different for me color combo!
It has been a while since I spent much time coloring an image with Copic markers – and sometimes that is just fun to do! This image was just crying out for some fun with the shading – it feels a bit like a Cinderella dress to me! And some white gel pen accents just add to the magical feel. 🙂
Since I used blues and oranges to color, I broke out some coordinating cardstock to pull it all together. I’ve often added strips of colored cardstock on white paper – but don’t know why it didn’t occur to me before to try white strips on colored cardstock. So fun, and adds a touch of interest behind the focal point of this card.
To finish it all off, I added a few clay confetti embellishments that coordinate with the color scheme. They just added a bit of interest to the design, and seemed super fun!
