Hello crafty friends! Sandhya here, and today I am sharing a tulips watercolor card using the gorgeous tulips-envelope image from the February KOM. I used the Love Envelope stamp from Unity for the background stamping.
First, I stamped the tulip envelope image on Fabriano hot pressed watercolor paper using Versafine Claire Nocturne ink. I watercolored it Lindy’s Magicals – Ramblin’ Rose pink and Martina’s Marigold. Then, I fussy cut the image and went around the edges with a black marker to cover the edges.
Then, I used a mini card die from The Greetery to cut out a 4X4 inch card base and stamped my background with Distress ink – Antique linen and Ground Expresso. I also went around the card base as well as the envelope with a blending brush. Finally, I popped on the colored image on the card-based and added a stamped sentiment from the KOM. I did add a couple of finishing touched in the form of white splatters and some Glossy Accents over the sentiment.
Thank You
