Hi, this is Sandhya, and I am back on the Unity Blog with an Art Journal Page. There is a fun challenge on Instagram called the #artpoetrychallenge hosted by Tracy, Natalie, and a group of artists. I thought it is a fun way to ease my way back into art journaling. Art Journalling is a very relaxing and forgiving form of art. It often starts out looking ugly, and it is up to the artist to keep going and take it past all the ugliness to something beautiful.

My art journal page is inspired by a photograph by Kathryn @wanderforawhile featured on the @shopfrontspoetry Instagram page. Check out this gorgeous picture before we dive into my art journaling process.
I took inspiration from the pink windows and beautiful flowers and immediately remembered the Beautiful Day Window stamp set from Unity. Then I chose to add more background stamping using a Past LOL set – French Kiss Life {lol 5/15}. Join me on my Youtube Channel for a step-by-step demo of how I created this page.
