Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. Today I’m sharing this mini slimline card with lots of lovely pink, and a bit of sparkle!
I started off by stamping that lovely paintbrush, and coloring the image in with Copic markers. I used lots of coral and dep red, and added the illusion of paint by using a flicking motion with my markers off the end of the brush. love how it worked!
I added a die cut frame, and heat embossed a sentiment to pop over the top of the brush, before mounting with foam on a soft blue cardbase. I love how the blue and pink set each other off so well!
Finally – add sparkle with some Nuvo clear glitter drops on the bottom of the brush as well as the centers of the flowers, and a few sparkly white jewels sprinkled around the sentiment to draw the eyes there!
