Hi Friends! Sandhya here and I am back with my Tuesday dose of Unity inspiration. I am keeping up with a blue and yellow theme in order to make more cards for my Ukrainian friends. And here’s a reminder that I can help you find a home for your blue and yellow cards for Ukraine if you are wondering what to do with them. I will be bringing them to my Ukrainian friends who pass them out to those in need of some cheering during their weekly meetings. I have witnessed the smiles on their faces upon receiving our cards and would like to continue supporting them as long as I can.
Love and Hope Sunflower Cards
I started by stamping the sunflowers on a piece of watercolor cardstock. Then, I watercolored the image using Altenew watercolor brush markers. I added splatters and trimmed the edges using the deckle edge trimmer. I created inky backgrounds to mat the panel and added die-cut sentiments to finish the cards. Here is a quick video showing my process –
- Stamps from Unity – Sending Love & Prayers Sunflower
- Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers
- Distress Spray Stain – Chipped Sapphire
- Lindy’s Moonshine Spray
- Tim Holtz Deckle Edge Trimmer
