Collage Journal Style Paintbrush Card

I started by stamping the paintbrush image on hot pressed watercolor paper and cut it out with my Brother Scan n Cut machine. Next, I watercolored it using Lindy’s Magical powders. Next, I picked out a gel printable background in the same color theme as my painted paintbrush. These gel printables are scanned images of gel prints created by my talented friend Amber and can be found
here.

Next, I used a perforated vintage frame notepad to punch out a frame and a tag to add an extra layer between my background and focal image. I also bunched up some jute fibers under the brush in order to add more texture and dimension. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Hello Fresh Start {january 2021 sentiment kit} and popped it up using foam tape. Finally, I added glossy accents to the paintbrush and finished off with sequins.
