Hello, it’s Gaylynn. Today, I am sharing a pearlescent watercolor mini slimline card using beautiful florals by Ann Corbiere Scott designs and Unity.
Here, the florals make such a whimsical and happy greeting. This pearlescent watercolor mini slimline card was the perfect size for this pretty red rubber stamp.
Sentiment: You are extraordinary.
I made a quick video tutorial HERE showing the process for this project.
Helpful tips:
These are helpful tips for making this pearlescent watercolor mini slimline card. To begin, stamp the flowers and the sentiment using watercolor card stock along with waterproof ink. Next, watercolor the flowers or use the color medium of your choice. Also, I chose a metallic style watercolor that shimmers beautifully. Then, leave this watercolor panel out to dry completely or heat set. Then, add a few white details for the flowers using paint or a pen. Also, trim or die-cut the flower panel, the mini slimline card base and the sentiment panel. Finally, layer it all onto the card base, to finish.
For this card base, I cut it to coordinate with the mini slimline dies that were used on the stamp layer.
My card base: Cut 6″ x 6″, score at 3″. (Use cut sizing to match your project.)
And, this is a look a little closer.
