Hello, it’s Gaylynn. Today, I am sharing a stamped and embossed slimline card with no coloring added. This one is all ready for Mother’s Day.
These background florals were kept light and simple to soften the look. With the added vellum piece, it finished the card nicely.
Sentiment: Happy Mother’s Day
I made a quick video tutorial HERE showing the process for this project.
Helpful tips:
These are helpful tips for making this stamped and embossed slimline card with no coloring. To begin, trim or die-cut a slimline stamp layer and a coordinating card base. Next, stamp solid background florals alternating two shades of pink. Then, stamp and heat emboss the sentiment in gold onto heat-friendly vellum cardstock. Also, trim the sentiment panel to fit the width of the slim card. Next, add some accent stenciling around the florals in dots or hearts. Finally, adhere all of the layers with clear flat double-sided tape to the card base, to finish.
For this card base, I cut it to coordinate with the stamped card layers that were used. This will vary depending on the brand and size of your top cuts or die-cut slimline layers.
This card base: Cut 8 1/2″ x 7″, score at 3 1/2″. (Use cut sizing to match your card project.)
And, this is a look a little closer.
