Hope you feel better soon!

Hope you feel better soon!

Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. You can read all the details and info to sign up HERE, and see this month’s kit as well.

Today I’m sharing a final card for this month, with a stamped background I created using the two sweet bandaid stamps in this month’s kit!

I randomly stamped both sizes of the bandaids on a panel of white cardstock to create a background, then colored it in nice and simple with Copic markers. I kept the shading and colors fairly simple, and with only 3 colors, it was nice and relaxing, but didn’t take too long!

Once I finished coloring, I also added some details with a white gel pen, then cut out with a stitched rectangle die. I mounted that with foam adhesive on an aqua cardbase – this helped pull out the bit of color in the shadow layer around the bandaids.

Finished off with a sentiment, heat embossed in white on a strip of black cardstock, trimmed at an angle to fit the front panel, then mounted with foam adhesive! I also added a few tiny clusters of dots using a black fine line pen. Just felt like it finished off the background perfectly!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope to see you back here next week – have a wonderful week!
