Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. Today’s card is a simple and fun watercolor card!
I started off by grabbing some watercolor paper, and embossing the beautiful leaf image from this month’s kit in white. I then sprinkled on some Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Falling Leaf – a lovely green color with some little flecks of blue. Then, I misted on a good coat of water, and set it aside to left it shift, flow, and dry on it’s own.
Once that dried, I heat embossed the sentiment from the kit in white on black, and trimmed it down to a thin strip.
I mounted the watercolor panel on my white cardbase, and then mounted the heat embossed sentiment over the top! Nice and easy!
