Two Step Stamping Wreath

May 14, 2022 - by Colleen Balija

Two Step Stamping Wreath

Today I’m honored to celebrate Unity’s 14th birthday by creating a simple card with two of their newest products, 2 Step Wreath and Fall Out Hearts die!

First step was to make the wreath using the 2 Step Wreath! The red rubber stamps have 3 fingers coming out that help align your stamp easily! I have included a video below showing you how easy to do this below!

I used 3 shades of green ink and two shades of pink ink for the leaves and flowers. Using more than one color adds dimension to your image. When The wreath was finished, I die cut it with a circle die and added a decorative circle cut out in the center of the wreath.

Next I worked on the background. Using blue inks and watercolor cardstock, I ink shmooshed the inks onto the watercolor paper and dried it with my heat  tool. I used 3 shades of blue to create depth and interest and also left some white space on the card panel. I die cut the card panel using Fall Out Hearts die. Then I added a dark royal blue to my A2 sized card base and glued the die cut panel over it. You can see in the photo above the fun colors!

Last step was to put my card together. I glued the wreath over the background panel and added the sentiment Sending Hugs from Unity over the top. I had inked up the sentiment using the same colors as the flowers in the wreath!

Thanks for stopping by today! All the products I used are from the new release. I hope you’ll stop by and shop the new release and sale products and wish Unity a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
