Hi unies!
I’m on the blog today sharing how to use color to create masculine cards. With Father’s Day right around the corner, now is a perfect time to get comfortable with those masculine cards!
Color is a powerful tool to convey a message in your cards. For masculine cards, I will either ask my recipient what his favorite color is and use that in my card, or I’ll google “masculine colors” and choose a combination I like. That’s how I found the colors for this card!
I have a video on Unity Stamp Co You Tube channel to show you how I made this card! In a nutshell, I chose 3 colors from this mood board below that I googled:
I chose orange, green blue, and green for my colors. I used my Copic markers to color in the balloons from the Balloon Party background stamp. Then I die cut the birthday die from Say It Big dies in black and white mirrored cardstock and placed it over the balloons. I finished with a few masculine sentiments from Sawyer Guy stamp set.
I love how the card turned out! You can take any design and make it masuline just by choosing the right color combinations! Thanks for stopping by!
