I am back on the Unity Blog to share a sneak peek of the new Winnie the Pooh Stamps arriving later today at Unity Stamp Company. It was fun to recreate these beautiful illustrations into rubber stamps and play with them.
For both my cards, I started by stamping the images on hot-pressed watercolor paper. I watercolored the images using Arteza real brush pens and die cut the colored images using a circle die. Then, I distressed along the outer edges of the circles using Antique Linen and Rusty Hinge Distress Inks.
I followed a similar process for the sentiments, but cut one with a smaller circle and ripped the other one simply with my hands. Next, I created my card backgrounds over ink-smooshed backgrounds from my stash. For the first card, I used a 3D Embossing folder to create texture and for the second, I stamped with the Worn Music background stamp. Then I assembled my panels and adhered them to white A2 card bases.
Thank You
