Hi friends! This is Sandhya! It’s time for some inspiration and today I am sharing a pair of artist trading cards. I got my hands on the gorgeous new background stamp called Among the Wildflowers illustrated by the super talented Ann Corbiere-Scott and was inspired to pair it with some wild pampas grass. This stamp is part of the latest July release that is accompanied by Unity’s Mega Summer Warehouse Sale (be sure to check away on your wishlist).

These ATCs are 2.5″ X 3.5″ in size. First I created a couple of ink-smooshed backgrounds on watercolor paper using Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink and Tree Lot Distress Mica stain. Then, I trimmed them down to size. Next, I stamped the background on some mixed media cardstock and trimmed it down to be a .25″ smaller than the ATC size.
I added a little bit of color to the stamped pieces by tapping it on the leftover ink droplets on my craft mat. Then, I stamped the floral background on a piece of glassine paper and crushed it. I rubbed some sticky ink over the raised paper marks and rubbed some color-shift mica powder over it and heat set. Next, I used little bits of this paper as an embellishment along with snow tulle and mixed media ribbon to layer over the stamped ATC.
Finally, I added bits of dried Pampas grass and a Wax seal on top to finish off the little projects.
Thank You
