Hello Beautiful! Welcome to the August 2022 Challenge

July 7, 2022 - by Noelle Reese

Hello Beautiful! Welcome to the August 2022 Challenge

Hello Beautiful Peeps!

It’s Noelle posting today and I am so HAPPY to be here! It is time for the July challenge on our Unity {show & tell} page on Facebook! I get to host it, and I’m super excited about it!  I hope you will come join me! This months theme is use your FAVORITE Unity stamp! I know, these amazing stamps are like children!  You can’t pick just one and neither can I!  So enter as many times as you want using as many favorite stamps as you want! One of my favorite things is stamps with coordinating dies!  Let’s get into the card details!

Here are the supplies I used!
Say It With Love Sentiment Kit and the Matching Dies
Falling Stars Background Dies
Scallops & Rectangles Nesting Dies

Embossing powder is Stampendous, the ink is Tim Holtz’s Chipped Sapphire and Versamark.
The gold sequins are vintage from a sewing basket I got at the thrift store!  Navy and white sequins and seed beads are from my stash!
Paper is all Bazzil except the white and it is Neenah 110#!
I cut Falling Stars in red, white and blue for the best confetti and then glued them all together for stability!

Next, I stamped and embossed and cut Say It With Love and I used my Misti to get the ink on just perfectly and several presses since it is distress ink.

I taped my Scallops and Rectangles dies together to make the frame
Next, I made a mountain of filler and it was pretty fun I have to say!  Then I put the foam tape on!  FOAM FIRST next time, !  It was tricky LOL00000000
I stuck the acetate to the foam tape and then glued the frame onto the acetate and let that dry while I made the sentiment.
That went over like a lead balloon.  It popped right off of there like the glue was never even involved LOL
GLUE DOTS TO THE RESCUE!  Nothing is popping off that acetate now I can assure you of that!  LOL
SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE!  YOUR BOOTY!  I MEAN YOUR CARD!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Please come join me in this months challenge!  Pick a favorite stamp and have fun with it!  I can’t wait to see what you share!  See y’all over on Facebook!0
