Hello, Gaylynn here. Today, I am sharing a set of Halloween treat toppers, which can also be used as gift tags or mini cards.
These were super easy to make using stamping, coloring and ink blending. Dies are optional but a paper trimmer is really all you need to create similar cuts.
Helpful tips:
These are helpful tips on how to make this quick and easy set of Halloween treat toppers for favor bags and more. Decorate for almost any occasion or theme. To begin, stamp the script background onto white card stock a few times, depending on how many cuts you need. Also, stamp and color the Halloween stamps, leaving space to trim them out. Next, add ink blending in two colors on all the script sheets then heat set. Then, using a paper trimmer, cut the script stamping away from the white leftover sections. Also, keep those leftover ink blend pieces. Next, die-cut, punch or trim the Halloween icons to use as topper accents. Also, die-cut or trim folded topper or mini cards using some of the trimmed leftover pieces, script paper or just white paper. Finally, add double-sided flat tape to adhere each of the layers in assorted patterns to use up most of the paper scraps. Ta-da, you have fun toppers, tags or mini cards that are always well received.
(Optional, you can speed up the process by using patterned paper.)
