I am back on the Unity Blog with an adorable holiday card featuring the Here for the Holidays stamp set from last week’s release at Unity Stamp Company. I also used the Buffalo Check Background to create a plaid background for my cards. If you haven’t checked out the latest release and super sale at Unity, it’s not too late to load your carts.
I started by stamping the adorable image from Here for the Holidays on a piece of hot-pressed watercolor paper. Then, I watercolored it using Distress Ink re-inkers and fussy cut the image. Next, I stamped the checked stamp on a piece of red cardstock. I used a white gel pen to add white lines and create a plaid look.
I stamped the sentiment and die-cut it with a stitched rectangle die. Next, I used the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} to die cut the background panel and a black scalloped mat for it. Then, I assembled my panel and adhered it to an A2 card base.
