Welcome to a new challenge on our Unity Show & Tell Facebook page!
It’s Noelle hosting a sketch for this month!
This month is a card sketch with a twist, thanks to Dawn Lewis!
My sister found this one with a goal to use up a 6×6 paper pad. Well, 6 sheets any way LOL
Don’t be fooled by this challenge! It’s not an easy one! But I m going to make it easier on y’all and share the hardships I ran into! LOL
Also, use one sketch, use all 11! Use one paper pad, use 11 paper pads! Do whatever strikes your fancy! This is supposed to be fun!
I picked the Coffee Lovers paper pack!
It didn’t take very long to learn how confusing each stack of cut up paper was! I suggest labeling them! I went with the colors provided, seemed simple enough.
Card 7 will be in a couple of weeks, but you need to know now, not all patterns can be used together LOL I absolutely could not make these two patterns work together.
Also patterns with direction aren’t a great idea and can get confusing!
In the end, I didn’t too badly! Will I ever do this sketch again? I don’t think so LOL I prefer one sketch at a time I think! But it quickly turned into a we can do this and then we will have 11 cards to send out all ready to go and we made it happen!
I want to apologize in advance for the pictures. I couldn’t get the glares under control. The ribbon, the paper, the sequins, everything is shiny just like I like it but it is a big set up for glare LOL
Card #1 I used Kitty To Go stamps. That cat cracks me up! The dies are Pierced Rectangles by Cottage Cutz. The water colors are Yasutomo! They are so beautiful! The sequins are from Fun Stampers Journey. The Ribbon is SU!
Card #2 I used Ray Of Sunshine, that owl is the cutest! I stamped on the die cut from my stash. It might be from my sister’s Gina K master layouts I cut a long time ago.
The owl on the envelope is ADORABLE! Every postal employee that sees that is going to laugh! LOL
Card #3 Have you caught on to the coffee theme yet? LOL Unity has STELLAR coffee stamps! When I search coffee, 48 sets come up! You can see them if you click HERE. This one is Coffee, Gnomes & You, so cute! I used the same Cottage Cutz die and the Yasutomo watercolors again. This one is blank on the inside.
Well, that’s the first 3 of 11 for this challenge! Below is a sneak peak of the rest of this month! I really hope you will come join us! You can pick one sketch, or do all 11. Enter as many times as you want. Grab a 6×6 paper pack or use your scraps. We aren’t strict around here! Personally this was a challenge for me. I learned I prefer just a sketch and using anything I want. Using the papers was a challenge and that was the point! I do love a good challenge. Learn from my mistakes and have a good time with it! I can’t wait to see what y’all come up with!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’ll see y’all on Facebook!
