Hello, Gaylynn here. Today, I am sharing how to make a mini slimline card with a holiday theme. This card technique can be used with almost any theme and stamping.
Here, I am still chipping away at making holiday cards to get a jump on the busy end-of-the-year projects. Here is an example.
Sentiment: There’s no place like home for the holidays.
I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
Helpful tips:
In summary, here are helpful tips on how to make a mini slimline card. To begin, make a card base to fit your dies that you may have and to fit inside of a mini slim envelope. Next, stamp the reindeer box and the sentiment onto white cardstock and color in the stamping. Then, either trim or die-cut this panel to fit over your prepared mini slimline card base. Finally, embellish with adhesive gems or sequins, to finish.
These are the project measurements:
Cut 6″ x 6″ and score at 3″.
My assembled card measures 6″ x 3″.
Also, this is another look.
This project was fun and easy to make. Use what you have on hand to stamp, trim, color and layer up your cards. This particular mini slimline card will fit into a regular small office envelope or sometimes money envelopes work as well. Give this project a try.
