Welcome to a little peek at sassy me through a mini art journal page. The Totally Have This {sassy girl} stamp set is my main focal point and I also used little bits of the Newsprint Floral Greetingsart journal stamp set from Unity Stamp Company for accents. I started by stamping and watercoloring the sassy girl. I used Lindy’s Magicals with Distress re-inkers to give her a vibrant and shimmery finish. I fussy cut and set her aside. I also stamped the sentiment from this set and trimmed it with a deckled edge trimmer.
Next, I used a stencil to add crackle paste to the background. After it air dried, I used Lindy’s Magicals to add color and spritzed it with water. Next, I stamped the Newsprint Floral background stamp on glassine paper and ripped pieces out of it to add accents to my background. Finally, I added stickers, mixed media elements and paper clusters to finish my page.
