Hello! It’s Noelle again and this is another post that is scheduled early! I have no idea what time Wednesday night I will be home but I am sure I will be too tired to get a blog post done and I don’t want to lug my laptop on vacation! So please forgive no mention of our retreat or any fun pictures! I have one more week I can recap some of the fun on!
I can’t let go of this shaker card obsession I am on! And I won’t LOL
So here we go again! LOL
I LOVE these Shaker Creator Shaker Pockets! They are SO easy! I love die cutting, but if you don’t, these are for you! No die cutting needed! No acetate, none of it, easy breezy! AND these combine my love for SlimLine and shaker cards! My envelope is from Hobby Lobby, and close on the short end!
I must apologize! I sat down to make the card and I was so into it I just made the whole thing and then realized I forgot to take a single picture. I don’t know how all these professional card makers/bloggers I am surrounded by do it! I am like a bull in a china shop slamming around doing my thing. There are mistakes! [lots] There is memory loss! [thanks being old and Covid LOL] Luckily, [???] I have the gift of gab and I can walk you through it pretty easy! LOL
Ok, here we go! RUN don’t walk and get the Whit Kit! It is my favorite so far! It is STUNNING! She knocked it out of the park and I can’t wait to make a junk journal with it! Vintage Naturalist is amazing! The stamps and the font are PERFECT!
I cut the card front and the pattern paper. Then I used the Deckle Edge Ruler on the sides of the pattern paper. I embossed all 4 stamps and then stuck down the pattern papers. You lay the shaker creator down, pour in the filler of your choice, lay down the card front and peel one edge at a time and fold it over and seal it at the same time. I peeled off the backing and folded it over and stuck it with a swipe of my hand and then did the next one. I suppose you could remove all 4 backings at once but I didn’t. Then I cut the card and I used red tape to attach the shaker to the card. It seriously could not be easier! I almost feel bad making a blog post out of it.
We need to talk about the sequins. They deserve to be admired. You NEED them! The Empire Sequin Blend is BEAUTIFUL! I have never even seen a gun metal sequin! My sequin stash is nothing to dismiss as small either! Maybe one day I will show y’all! I have drawers and drawers of sequins. I buy every vintage sequin I can find LOL This mix trumps all the drawers! There are brown, copper, gold, silver, gun metal, some are matte, some are super sparkly. Some are even sort of clear like. It is a perfect mix! I am going to need a dozen packs of these!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope to see you over on our Facebook Show and Tell page!
