Enrich the Soul, Whit kit
Happy Saturday crafters! Echo here with a video tutorial using Enrich the Soul, Whit-kit. It’s the October card kit. One of my favorite things is to add texture to my cards. So, when I saw that there was an embossing folder in this moth’s kit I was so excited. Who doesn’t love plaid? I also didn’t have it in my stash and I thought that I had everything! This membership is perfect for adding those small crafting treasures that you didn’t know you needed. Whit is amazing at curating these kits.
What’s inside the October Whit-kit?
Can you believe you get all that for only $40.

For this card I made the background the same as I did in the video. Then I added some of the patterned paper and ephemra.
Stamped the sentiment, ink blended and distressed edges. Added some twine and adhered it to a white card base.
I adore this patterned paper. It was a perfect backdrop for the pumpkin image. I did the ink smooshing with Copic coloring in reverse on this card. I stamped image with Copic friendly ink. Colored image and then ink smooshed some distress onto the colored image. I absolutely love this technique. It adds an artsy element that I really like.
Let it dry completely before putting it back into the stamping platform to stamp image again with Versafine Clair ink in pinecone. This step is not necessary but some images I love the bold line that Vesafine Clair ink leaves but it’s not a Copic friendly ink. So you can still achieve this look by stamping image first in Copic friendly ink, Copic coloring, and then stamping again in Versafine Clair ink. Best of both worlds. Also my favorite ink for sentiments. Then I fussy cut image.
Using the Scallops and rectangles nesting die. Ink splattered patterned paper with distress inks in mustard seed and wild honey. Stamped sentiment and added fussy cut image. Assembled card onto kraft card base.
Have a great weekend. Thank you, for joining me today!
