Hello, Gaylynn here. Holiday card making is on menu for today. I am sharing a bird card using wet embossing and Copic markers along with square die-cuts.
This card combines a few techniques that work perfectly together. I think that this card works for either holiday or a winter birthday.
Sentiment: Merry wishes from our home to yours.
For this card, I am including a quick tip video tutorial for the process.
Helpful tips:
In summary, these are helpful tips for card making using wet embossing and Copic markers plus added square die-cut accents. To begin, prepare a card base in color cardstock. Then, stamp and trim the bird and sentiment panels. Next, die-cut a background layer for the bird panel. Then, using a stencil and spatula, add molding paste in two corners over the front of the card base. Carefully remove the stencil and allow the embossing to dry completely. Also, immediately clean all of the tools used for wet embossing. Next, color in the bird scene. I used Copic markers. Finally, layer and adhere all of the layers of the dried embossing, to finish.
