It’s time for a visit from Pooh on the Unity Blog today. I had fun coloring the new Winnie the Pooh: A Little Visit for Pooh stamp set from the Brown Thursday release at Unity Stamp Company. Check out this awesome stamp set, several new releases, and the biggest sale of the year at Unity Stamp Company all month long in November.
Unity Stamp Company Brown Thursday Stamp

This classic scene from the books of Pooh is super adorable and so fun to color! I stamped with Versafine Claire Nocturne on Fabriano Hot pressed Watercolor paper. Then I used Arteza real brush pens and Viviva Colorsheets to watercolor the scene. I did a lot of the wet into wet technique to allow color bleeds and wicking for the look for depth and texture.

Next, I die-cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and set it aside. I moved on to create textured mats for the focal image using the Tree Rings Embossing Folder and an ink-smooshed background. I also die-cut the stamped sentiment and inked around the edges before adding to the panel.

Finally, I added some twine and a faux button to embellish and adhered my layers on a white card base to complete the card. One thing to note here is that the mat I used is A2 size and my card base is much bigger (approximately 5″X6″).
Thank You
