Blessing in Everything | An Encouragement Set

Blessing in Everything | An Encouragement Set

I am sharing my Blessings in Everything mini-slimline card and ATC set on the Unity Blog today. I also wanted to share about the awesome new release and Cyber Monday sale that extends through this week at Unity Stamp Company. The All Blessings stamp set is the star of today’s show and I used it to make my encouragement set project.

I started by creating a lightly Ink smooshed background with Distress Inks and stamped the butterfly focal image three times with black ink. I cut two of them out with dies from the Sizzix Tim Holtz Collector die set. For the 3rd one, I used the Tim Holtz Deckled Edge trimmer.

Then I stamped the blessing sentiment 3 times on the remaining scraps of ink-smooshed paper and trimmed it using the deckled edge trimmer. Next, I found some interesting brown pattern papers from my stash and trimmed pieces to form the base panel as well as mat the focal point and sentiment strip for my mini-slimline card.

I went around the ATC edges with distress inks to increase the grunge factor. Finally, I added bits and pieces of lace and assembled my card using a lot of foam tape to build dimension. Next, I moved on to create a pair of ATC’s with matching envelopes.

I created the envelopes using the Tim Holtz Collector dies set and pattern paper. A little bit of collaging with lace, paper, and the sentiment strip, I decorated both envelopes. I die-cut the main ARC Cards using a die from the Collector set and used my sewing machine to attach the stamped piece to the base.

I stamped a sentiment from the Hanging Botanicals stamp set and cut it up for the first ATC and used stickers from a sticker book for the second. Once again, I added Distress inks to all the edges and finished off with little pieces of lace attached with mini paperclips.

Thank You
