Hello friends! I hope you had a wonderful holiday break. I am back on the Unity Blog with my last post for 2022. It has been a wonderful year of creativity for me and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continuous support and encouragement all through this year. Today’s project is an encouragement tag set featuring the Better With Friends stamp set.
I started by die-cutting a tag out of watercolor cardstock. Then, I used Distress mica stains and spray stains to create an ink-smoosed background.
Next, I stamped the flowers with Versafine Claire Nocturne ink and colored them using Distress Watercolor pencils.
Next, I used the grungy elements from this stamp set to stamp around the flowers. I just love the texture this adds to the background.
Next, I added sentiments from a printable sheet I had in my stash. Finally, I distressed the edges and added colorful lace and twine to complete the tag.
