Sending a little sparkle- January winter color challenge
Happy Thursday crafters, sending a little sparkle- January winter color challenge. Echo here from Stamp N Ground. I am hosting the January winter Color Challenge over on the Unity Show N Tell Facebook group. Today I am sharing a card I made using the Sparkle, Glitter, and Hope stamp kit. For this color challenge I’m still in the winter mood. So anything with a winter feel would be great. Think Angie girls with coats, snowflakes, a snowman, cup of coffee or cocoa, wintery trees, really anything that feels like sweater weather.
Here are the colors for the challenge. Oh, how i love these colors!
I started off with a white A2 size card panel. I stamped the small snowflakes all over the card panel with distress oxide in broken china. Then I stamped the snowflakes randomly with distress oxides in fossilized amber and picked raspberry. I stamped the darker snowflake and sentiment in Gina K ink in the navy. Die cut the stamped card panel with the Scallops and Rectangles nesting dies.
I ink blended the edges with regular distress ink in pumice stone. Distress the edges of the sentiment and add to a white card base.
I hope you join the January winter color challenge. Remember these challenges are meant to inspire not require. Let’s have some fun and stamp out something cozy.
Monthly challenges are easy to enter. Simply add you card or project to the January winter color challenge album in the Unity Show N Tell Facebook group for your chance to win a Unity gift certificate.
Thank you for stopping by!
Join me next Thursday for more inspiration for the January winter color challenge.
