Happy Tuesday!! Maria here with some Tuesday Vibes or as I like to call it Easter Vibes. With the weather now turning to Springtime I wanted to create a springy project and not just a card for you this month .
I found these cute wooden egg shaped (ok Ovals) pieces at Michaels and I bought two that were the perfect size for stacking. I cut out fun Easter/Spring papers to cover the wood and just simply used glue tape to adhere it. You can of course use mod podge or a gel medium but I thought why not keep this simple. For this project I used Hoppy Notes kit. I stamped and colored him with alcohol markers and used a scalloped oval die to cut him out. The super cute egg paper is by Paper Studio and the springy pattern paper by Recollections.
Also while at Mikes I found this super cute spring rick rak that I thought would look so cute as a border for my wooden ovals. I used tape glue (like score tape) to adhere the rick rack down and it worked like a charm. I layered the wooden panels with foam tape (2 layers) to create dimension on the project. Nuvo Glitter drops were the perfect ending accent to the flower and bunny.
Here is my card and project duo:
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope this inspires you to create a fun springtime project and think outside the box.
