Hello, friends! Welcome back to Tuesdays Thoughts with Bobbie Sue.
Do you ever avoid commenting on a post because you sound too repetitive? I sure do. Sounds crazy right? Surely, I am not alone. Texting, phone calls, even prayer sometimes. Commenting the same edifying words on others makes, sending the same “How are you doing” texts, and avoiding lengthy phone calls that cover the same topics. And perhaps, this has spilled over into my sending cards.
Recently, I have become more aware of this habit. Or rather, lack of, and am choosing to make a conscientious effort to communicate even if I sound repetitive.
Traditionally, I am not the kind of person to speak empty words so if I speak it, I mean it. Typically my heart lines up with my speech. There is nothing wrong with ordinary or simple. In all honesty, this describes a part of who I proudly am.
So, I plan to continue sharing the same edifying comments, the same predictable texts, covering the same topics in conversation, repeating myself in prayer. I’ll be sending cards even when I have little to say…
After all, it is quality, not quantity right? We all know the power even one little word has.
I’ve created a beautiful lilacs card to send out this week just because.
Here, I have used the following 2 stamp sets.
Just Because and Magical Lilacs
Next time you avoid commenting on someone’s make because you seem to use the same few words every time I hope you are reminded that your words really do make a difference. Even if repeated.
I would love for you to follow my card making journey here on my Facebook and here on my Instagram.
As always, I enjoy my time here and thank you for joining me.
Until next time, I look forward to more Tuesdays Thoughts. Right here, next month.
Blessings,
Bobbie Sue
