Gold embossing on dark cardstock ~ Daughter card

Hello and welcome, Gaylynn here. Gold embossing on dark cardstock is the focus for today on the Unity blog.  The technique provides a stunning look.

And, as a bonus, this card requires no coloring.  I love the simple yet dramatic look of it combining the two.

Helpful tips:
In summary, for this gold embossing on dark cardstock daughter card, begin by preparing an A2 sized card base in white.  Then, onto smooth black cardstock, stamp in watermark ink and then heat emboss the stamping using gold embossing powder.  Additionally, use a powder or anti-static tool on the dark cardstock prior to stamping.  Next, trim or die-cut the black panel and add a background panel in gold.  Also, stamp and trim sentiments and ribbon for the card.  Finally, layer it all onto the card base with added adhesive gems, to finish.
