I love how you can use this rose with just the outline or both together. It opens up so many options.
Here is a sample of another card I did with this kit.
I stamped the solid rose onto a piece of the newsprint greetings {paper pack} Stamped the center part of the rose and leaves. Die cut everything. Added some of the patterned paper from the kit and ink blended the edges. Then I ink splattered the background and I added the rose, leaves, and stamped sentiment. Here is another card done with the center of the rose.
I was trying to achieve the soft delicate card. Totally out of my comfort zone. The rose and leaves were stamped in grey ink. The leaves come off a bit green because I didn’t clean my stamp after I had stamped green…lol. I just rolled with it because it wasn’t too bad. Using the scallops & rectangles {nesting dies} and the two different pink card stock that came with the kit. The lighter pink card panel edges are ink blended with grey ink. The pattern paper edges was ink blended in pink. Here is the last card I made using this kit.
These greens and pinks together are so pretty. It seems I only emboss white sentiments on black card stock but I thought I would try it on this dark green and it doesn’t disappoint at all.
Have a great weekend. Thank you, for joining me today!
