Hello! Thanks so much for coming back by! This week I focused on sequins! Which I have a slight addiction to I must admit! Especially old, tiny ones from the thrift stores!
I started with a square cut in kraft using Scallops and Squares nesting dies. The stitching along with adorable Pooh and Piglet is so cute, I can’t hardly even stand it! This stamp is from Winnie the Boo & Piglet, that is an adorable name isn’t it? I embossed it in clear and used Acorn Versafine ink.
I did the same with the bees, forgetting I could have done them all at the same time because that is the beauty of this ink, you have 5 minutes to emboss it. I love not having to hurry!
I can not photograph stickles to save my life. You are going to have to trust me, the rock candy is so beautiful! I don’t even think I have one use left. I will be sad when it is gone. But I am in a mission to use up as much as I can! This stamp room is out of control! LOL The orange peel is getting pretty low too! Which is odd, I don’t even really like orange, but let’s face it, Stickles are so pretty is all the colors!
Do you have Ink off yet? It is FANTASTIC! You just stamp the stamp on the pad and then on rag and your stamp is clean! Look how cute that bee is on my cloth! I even bought the refill bottle and have not even needed it and I have used it hundreds of times!
Speaking of out of control, do you see how old this pattern paper is? Living rent free here for 15 years! Isn’t that a little bit crazy? LOL I am going to use it, or get rid of it, I need some breathing room! Except for my Unity collection of course. 🙂
OK, back to the sequins! LOL The point of the challenge! I decided to make my own paper, sort of. I love Cosmo, I love it more embossed and with some sequins!
I used foam in the middle to make it higher than the sequins and tied on the ribbon from my stash. Then I embossed the envelope for the mail person! Easy and fun!
I hope you head over to Facebook and join us for this month’s challenge! There will be prizes!
Thanks for stopping by today!
