Sending Love, Whit- kit

Sending Love, Whit- kit

Sending Love, Whit-kit

Happy Sunday crafters!  Echo here with some inspiration using the Sending Love, Whit-kit. What a perfect kit to send out those valentine or galentine cards! I just love the little envelope die and the little heart die note card. So very cute. The love themed postage stamps are awesome too.

Here is a look at the whole kit if you haven’t seen it yet.

 What’s inside the January Whit-kit?

Can you believe you get all that for only $42.99

First up, I stamped the script word image onto some ivory card stock. Ripped it on each side and adhered it to some of the cute patterned paper from this months kit and die cut it with the postage stamp nesting dies. Ink blended the edges with distress ink in vintage photo and added some twine. I die cut the envelope and heart note. Ink blended the edges with vintage photo as well.  Stamped the sentiment and distressed the edges with some scissors. Popped up everything with foam tape.

Two more card ideas!

Next up, I die cut a variety of patterned paper with the two smallest postage stamp dies. Then I used the postage stamp images and stamped the postage die cuts. I used the script stamp and stamped out the background on kraft card stock. Ink blended and ink splattered the background with distress ink in vintage photo. Then adhered the stamped postage die cuts onto background. Stamped, fussy cut, and ink blended sentiment. Popped the sentiment up with foam tape and a die cut from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment nesting dies. Added some twine to finish it off.

This card was a lot of fun to make. I used the postage stamps to randomly stamp the background.  Using both black and brown inks. I then distressed the edges with my scissors. To give it a worn look I scrunched up the background into a little ball and then smoothed it back out. Then I ink blended it with distress ink in vintage photo. I used the envelope die and cut two envelopes in different patterned papers.  Stamped the two sentiments for each envelope. I couldn’t resist in using the little heart die note cards. So cute putting two in the opened envelope.

Hope you found some inspiration using the January card kit. If you are inspired by any of these techniques, tag me over on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook group. I would love to see what you make using this kit. Your creations, make me happy!

Have a great weekend. Thank you, for joining me today!

I will be looking forward to seeing you next month.
Stay tuned for more inspiration with January’s kit. If you missed December’s blog post from me using the Whit- kit. You can find that here.
