How adorable is this sweet little girl by Unity Stamp Company? She was drawn by the oh so talented Phyllis Harris and is a character in her book called I See You Wind. I highly recommend her amazing books for your littles.
Eclipse Technique
She needed a fun technique to make her special and one of my favorites is the Eclipse Technique. It is where you layer a die cut image in the middle of your design so a portion of it pops up to create a 3D effect. You can do this with words or shaped dies and it is a fun way to add some dimension to your project.
I decided to simply ink blend each layer so the eclipsed heart pops and frames her face perfectly. The little girl is so beautiful. I didn’t want to distract from her and this simple twist allowed her to shine.
