Hi friends!
March Background of the Month stamp is for all of you coffee junkies, like me! It’s a bold stamp filled with coffee-related sentiments! Needless to say, I had a blast creating this card! For my card today, I’ll be using Coffee Components stamp, March Background of the Month, and Bailey Girl stamp. I’ll also be using dye inks and Copic markers.
First, I stamped the background in black ink (is that not an AWESOME background?). Then I stamped Coffee Components background stamp over it in a shade of brown and mahogany. I stamped it once in brown, flipped the card panel over, and then stamped it with the mahogany color.
Next, I stamped Bailey Girl with permanent black ink onto a piece of white cardstock. I colored her with my Copic markers in similar shades as the background panel so that she would blend nicely, yet still stand out. Once I finished coloring, I fussy cut her out, popped a few foam squares on her, and adhered her over the background panel. I added glossy accents over the coffee mug to give it some shine and depth. I finished with a sentiment from this set. It is one sentiment, but I trimmed it in two so that it would fit nicely on the card.
