Illustrator Insight: Do you ever wonder what stamp designs think about when they create a stamp illustration? I thought I’d give you a little peek into my head with how this one came to be. I’m a crafty beer fan! We have a lot of local breweries all over Arizona and we love to visit them to try their unique brews. Our friends are big craft brew lovers too and I wanted a stamp set that I could use for them for lots of occasions. So I set out to create a trio of beer cans with fun names and brew styles with sentiments galore. I hope you love it. Cheers!
You’ve Earned A Cold One
I stamped the beer cans from the Cheers Bruh Unity stamp set. I love this stamp set for any occasion for my beer loving friends. Then I used my mini brushes to color each can with colorful inks. It makes for easy coloring.
I have a combo of Rustic Whispers and Bohemian Dreams pattern paper. Then to add some accents, I drew some squiggly lines. It helped to break up the blocks of pattern paper.
Embellishment Tip: Search around to see if you have something in your home for a fun embellishment. I have a jar full of different can tabs that worked perfectly with the beer theme.
Decorate the Inside: This card was made for a friend of mine who is retiring. When I know who a card is going to, I decorate the inside. Most of the time I’ll leave it blank and complete it later. This time I fussy cut out each beer can and added them to the bottom of the sentiment block.
