Hi there. Gaylynn here. Here is an easy and cute cat card using monochromatic colored pencils on kraft cardstock. For this project, I chose the tones of tan, gold, gray and white.
The stamp combination makes me laugh. I think the sentiment is the best part of this card. haha
Sentiment:
If cats could send a card… they wouldn’t.
Helpful Tips:
In summary, to make this easy cat card with monochromatic colored pencils, prepare a kraft color card front layer. Then, stamp the cat, the sentiment, hearts and paw prints near the bottom of the paper. Next, find an embellishment from your paper stash to use as a card topper. Then, pick monochromatic color pencil shades. Next, lightly add color to the cat panel blending multiple pencil color layers. I used tan, gold, gray and white tones. Also, layer the doily accent with twine over the card front. Finally, adhere the card front to the white card base, to finish.
Also:
Try using the free goodies that you receive with Unity orders. This pretty paper doily is one of the embellishment pieces that I received.
