Hello Crafty friends! I am excited to be here today to share a card using the beautiful Autumn Wonder stamp set! I had fun creating layers on today’s card using pattern paper, stamps, and embossing folders! Let’s get started!
I started today’s card with the Autumn Wonder stamp set and a panel of hot press watercolor paper. I started by spraying Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain onto my watercolor panel. Once the panel was dry, I started to stamp the beautiful leaves from the Autumn Wonder stamp set. I placed the stamps onto my stamping platform and applied Distress Inks to the leaves. I applied one color at a time, then lightly spritzed the stamp with water, then stamped the leaf directly to my watercolor panel. I repeated this process with each of the leaves and used a variety of Distress Ink colors. On some of the leaves, I lightly spritzed the ink with water to allow the ink to move.
While the panel was drying I started to look through my stash to build layers behind my leaf panel. I chose a piece of pattern paper, as well as 2 extra panels with embossing folders in my stash. I then added a panel using a piece of Unity free gift brown bag. I had made several of these brown bag panels this summer and pulled one out to use on today’s card. On this panel I stamped a few leaves as well following the same process I shared above. Next on the Autumn Leaves panel I stamped the A Faithful Letter background stamp using Distress Ink.
Next I started to adhere all the layers using a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. Next I added a small piece of cheesecloth, as well as a sentiment from Autumn Dictionary Words. I had a lot of fun putting today’s card together!
I will be back soon! Have a great week!
