Hello friends, Lisa here with a card full of sunshine for Sentiment Saturday.

This card is all about sending some sunshine with a little help from this sweet Winnie the Pooh stamp set by Unity Stamp Company. I used a fun fold die set with a little alteration to create a more standard layout. It’s a simple change, making card assembly easy while keeping the design fun. Sending Some Sunshine

There’s something heartwarming about Winnie the Pooh gazing up at a sunflower. The fun fold die set usually creates a more interactive card with a cut tab to hold the card close. I decided to cut that tab off for a more traditional card fold that is still fun! The mix of the cozy plaid paper, a rustic twine bow, and the “Sending some sunshine” sentiment creates a card that’s both cheerful and comforting—perfect for brightening anyone’s day.

What Makes This Card Special:

• Fun Fold with a Twist: Instead of using the fun fold die set as intended, I cut off the tab fold to create a standard card base. This keeps the card simple but still allows for easy layering with the included dies. You don’t have to think about measuring for perfect layers!
• Layered Patterns: The plaid patterned paper on the inside adds a cozy contrast to the clean, bright image on the front. It’s a simple way to add texture and interest without overwhelming the design.
• Finishing Touches: A little string bow at the top ties everything together (literally!) and gives the card a rustic, handmade feel.
• Copic Coloring: Bring Pooh to life with some alcohol marker coloring.
• Ink blended Background: Finish off the sky and ground with an ink blend of Distress ink: Tumbled Glass and Bundled Sage.
• Solid Inside Panel: This inside panel is the perfect place for your personalized message. Either stamp a message or write your own!
