Hi friends! Did you know that Unity has some of the BEST patterned paper out there? I love to use the pattern whenever I can to compliment my focal point! Today’s warm, autumn card features October’s Kit of the Month and Jubilant Tapestry patterned paper!
First, I chose the papers from Jubilant Tapestry for the background. The papers are made to coordinate together, making it easy for you! All you need to do is choose the ones that spark your creativity! I chose 4 sheets, and then I created layers, with each layer being slightly shorter than the other. I tore the edges as well, and this resulted in a beautiful and interesting background! You can see what I mean in the photo above!
Next, I focused on the girl drinking coffee (or hot chocolate?) from October’s Kit of the Month. I felt like the warmth radiating from her worked well with the warm colors from the papers!
I stamped her in black ink and colored her in similar shades as the patterned paper so that everything was cohesive! Then I trimmed her along with a piece of black cardstock and adhered them together. I adhered those layers over my background and finished with a sentiment that is also framed in black! I added a gold gel pen over her nails, her hair and her eye shadow for added details!
