Shimmer and Shine Accents ~ Angel Inspirational Card

Greetings, Gaylynn here.  Today, I am showing how to add touches of shimmer and shine to card making. This handmade angel inspirational greeting card is great for encouragement, Christmas, sympathy and uplifting spirts.  Shimmer was added with paper and metallic ink for stamping.

Sometimes less is more in card making.  A little touch of sparkle goes a long way.

Sentiment:
The Lord BLESS you and keep you;
the Lord make His face SHINE on you and give you peace.
Numbers 6:24-26.

Helpful tips:

1. Prepare an A2 sized card base from white cardstock, 4 1/4″ x 5.5″ folded.

2. Onto a piece of dark blue cardstock, stamp the angel in silver metallic ink. An optional method is to stamp and heat emboss in white or silver.

3. Stamp and trim the sentiment on dark blue cardstock.

4. Add white paint splatters over the blue background and then heat set.

5. Trim or die-cut shiny silver patterned paper for the background frame and sentiment layers.

6. Adhere the layers with flat and foam tape, to finish.
