Welcome, Gaylynn here. Today’s card features a beautifully detailed floral. It is from the Unity Stamp Co. stamp and stencil vintage poinsettia set. This set makes the most lovely holiday and Christmas cards.
Here, I combined stamp and stencil blending along with pretty patterned paper layers for this project.
Helpful Tips:
-
Prepare an A2 sized card base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ in white.
-
Trim or die-cut two coordinating patterned paper sheets for layered card background pieces.
-
Stamp the script background onto the lighter paper layer. I used kraft color ink.
-
Stamp and trim the sentiment. I used copper metallic ink.
-
Onto smooth white cardstock, stamp the poinsettia in black ink and heat set.
-
Using the layering stencils, add ink blending in different coordinating colors.
-
Fussy cut (cut out) the large poinsettia.
-
Splatter white paint over the poinsettia and heat set.
-
Layer and adhere everything to the card front plus added gems, to finish.
Finally, this is a closer look at the finished card.
