Creative Tips & Techniques
- Simplify Your Coloring: Keep the Copic coloring simple! Just 2–3 shades per bird give them so much life without overcomplicating things. Copic colors: YG13, YG17; BG11, BG13; R20, R22; Y11, Y13; YR14; W1
- Perfect Stamp Alignment: Use a stamping platform, like the MISTI, to perfectly align the birds and ensure crisp, clean impressions every time. It makes layering or repeat stamping a breeze!
- Align Your Die Perfectly: Make sure to line up the heart die carefully so the design flows seamlessly from front to inside. It’s worth the extra step to grab a pencil!
- Add Subtle Texture: A little texture goes a long way. Try using a stitched heart die—it’s such an easy way to elevate the card without adding bulk.
- Let the Stamps Shine: Use the Flock Talk stamp set to its full potential. With so many sentiment options, it’s easy to customize this card for any occasion.
- Don’t Forget the Inside: The inside of your card is a great spot to add more love or a fun surprise, like the stitched heart detail or that cute little worm!
