Welcome, Gaylynn here. Today, I am sharing a fun welcome to the neighborhood housewarming card. It features little houses in an outdoor scene from the December 2024 Whit Kit card kit.
Some of the houses pop up. See how it is made.
Sentiment:
From our home to yours.
Welcome to the neighborhood.
Helpful Tips:
-
Prepare an A2-sized card base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ in white.
-
Trim or die-cut two card front panels in green.
-
Spritz with water mist and then dry emboss both green panels in a leaf pattern.
-
Stamp and color the owl on white cardstock. I used Copic marker coloring but use what you have.
-
Add white dots to the owl’s cheeks.
-
Fussy cut the owl.
-
Die-cut or hand trim a leaf from one of the embossing panels.
-
Stamp then trim or die-cut the sentiment on white.
-
Layer and adhere everything to the card front using both flat and foam tape.
