Greetings, Gaylynn here. This is a DIY monthly calendar art project using preprinted calendar sheets with monthly dates. These are great for the refrigerator, desk, gift set, school art activities or a frame. The monthly sheets in today’s post are for January and February 2025. I love that they are blank at the top, so you can add your own art, such as stamping, coloring, cut files, writing, and more. The supplies are noted below.
I decorated each one with rubber stamping, Copic marker coloring, patterned paper accents, and die-cuts.
Helpful Tips:
-
You can start with preprinted calendar sheets or make your own for each month of the year, with dates. Mine are 4 1/4″ x 5.5″, preprinted, and ready for art.
-
Stamp and color pieces for two different monthly sheets.
-
Die-cut or trim accents and sentiments.
-
Die-cut or trim a banner panel to fit your stamping for January.
-
Trim the stamped sentiment for January highlighting two words.
-
Fussy cut the penguin stamping for February. Also, add a heart tag, twine and sentiment.
-
Trim a coordinating rectangle from patterned paper for February.
-
Onto the top portion of the calendar sheets, adhere the finished layers over each month, using flat double-sided tape or glue, to finish.
First, here is the January 2025 art sheet.
And, this is the February 2025 art calendar sheet. I used a love or Valentine theme for this one.
Finally, here is another look at the duo up close. Of course, for all of these sheets, use your own artwork and customize it to your liking. The sky is the limit.
Be sure to see the video of the assembly process.
