Hi friends!
It’s a new year and Unity has AMAZING new releases to share with you! Today’s card will use a recently released stamp called Kindness Unfolded. I’m going to show you an easy die cut layering technique that is simple and very effective for a quick card!
First, I stamped the image from Kindness Unfolded onto a piece of white cardstock sized 5.5×4.25 using black permanent ink. Next, I grabbed 4 sizes of rectangle nesting dies along with 2 sheets of black cardstock and one sheet of white cardstock.
I die cut the stamped card panel, 2 sheets of black cardstock, and 1 sheet of white cardstock using the 4 nesting dies, as seen in the photo above. Before I adhered the layers together, I had one more thing to do with my flowers!
I colored the petals of the flowers only on the smallest piece of the stamped card panel. Then I adhered all the layers together, switching from white to black and finishing with all the layers on a 5.5×4.25 white card base. You can see in the photo above how lovely these black and white layers are with the black flowers and a touch of yellow!
One final step to complete this card was to add a moving sentiment from the Kindness Unfolded stamp set and glossy accents to the center of the flowers.
