Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a card I made for my oldest granddaughter who loves cats. Of course I was bursting to use the new cat stamp LoLa! Seriously isn’t she beautiful. First up was choosing my markers. I only needed a few!
I wanted to use the gorgeous paper pack Bohemian Dreams from Unity. The color palette is oranges, greens and teals.
I wanted my image to keep some white but to also add some creaminess to it. I remembered this tip from when I first started making cards and blending ink. You leave your image in your die (this is the small rectangle from the scallops and rectangles die set) and blend your ink inside the panel. When you remove your die you will have a white border around your ink. Makes it look like another layer!
This is my finished card. I love it! Some twine, a paperclip and we are all set. I hope you enjoy today’s creation and it inspires you to get inky!
