Hello friends, Lisa here with a Just a Minute {JAM} video and sneak peek at a new release coming later this afternoon.
Somebunny is not happy about their Easter outfit! This little guy’s face says it all, and I can’t stop laughing. It brings back so many memories of those silly Easter outfits I had to wear as a kid—frilly dresses, itchy tights, and all.
For this card, I’m mixing things up with an inky background, layered die cuts, and the newest Pissy Kitty from Unity Stamp Company. His unimpressed expression, paired with that ridiculously adorable bunny hat, makes for the perfect snarky Easter card.

Just A Minute {JAM} Session Videos are short videos with simple ideas or techniques to help spark your creativity. These quick ideas do not require much explanation, but seeing them in action can be the perfect inspiration you need for your next project. Watch it on YouTube.

Inky Layers and Attitude
This card is all about soft color meets sassy attitude. The background started with two pink Distress Ink colors ink smooshed onto cardstock for a soft, blended effect. Once dry, I stamped a spring-themed text background over the top to add a bit of depth without taking attention away from our grumpy buddy. A scalloped die-cut edge gives the design a touch of sweetness to contrast the grumpy mood.
- Distress Ink Colors: Saltwater Taffy, Worn Lipstick, Frayed Burlap
The Pissy Kitty is colored with Copic markers, bringing out all that fluffy fur texture. His ridiculous bunny hat got some extra pink shading to keep it playful. The image is framed with a stitched circle die, then layered over a simple kraft banner for contrast. The final touch is the perfectly snarky Fluff Off sentiment because it truly says it all!
Copic Colors:
- Bunny Hat: R20, R22, RV21
- Cat: W1, W3, W4
I love how this grumpy little bunny turned out. It is such a fun way to mix playful mixed media with a snarky twist, making for a one of a kind Easter card. Whether you are in the mood for inky layers or just a good laugh, this card has the perfect balance of both.
