Happy Friday, crafty friends! Today’s blog features a beautiful stamp from the new Kit of the Month by Unity Stamp Company. Tulips can come in many colors and are simply beautiful. I was so torn on which color to use with so many options. So I pulled out my new Color Cube to see what might work… Card 113 was it.
Using this color combo, I paired each color with some Copic markers.
-
Grey: N5, N3, N1
-
Bright Red: R08, R24, R14
-
Terra Cotta: E07, R24, R14
-
Dark & Light Green: G94, YG63, YG61
I used a die from my stash and then added washi tape to cover the bottom and lower left & right border edge. Then using Bundled Sage Distress Ink, I blended ink going upward to break up some of the white space.
The sentiment is also from my stash as this year is the year I use some of my crafty goodies that have gotten less attention. And don’t overlook the beautiful sentiments in this kit; they are amazing and coordinate so well with the stamp in this kit as well as many other Unity stamp sets.
